Ashley Gifford is an art historian, writer, and creator. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, she has been based in Portland, Oregon, since 2012. She is the Founder & Editor in Chief of Art & About – an art journal for the Pacific Northwest, focusing on Portland, Oregon. Her writing is featured in Ceramics Now, Oregon ArtsWatch, Portland Mercury, among other publications. Her academic background includes a BA in Art History from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa.
