István Holló is an artist who has been working with ceramics since 2011, having previously created jewelry design. He received his diploma in Metal Engineering Design at the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in 1990. István’s works are part of multiple private and public collections, including at the Museum of Applied Arts, Budapest.
István Holló spent the last decade working with clay with a characteristic sensitivity, continuously tensing the physical boundaries of the material. His ceramic sculptures are ethereal, maintaining the terrestrial power of clay.
