The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s School of Art and Design is seeking to fill the position of Ceramics Instructor (tenure track) to begin in August of 2025. The successful candidate will teach ceramics, and foundation courses, and will mentor students. They will have an active scholarship agenda, participate in recruitment, retention, and special programs, and will engage in university service. The faculty teaching load is three studio courses per semester or the equivalent lecture courses.

Required Education and Experience: MFA in Ceramics or related field.
Preferred Education and Experience: Demonstrated potential to teach introductory to advanced courses at the college level; Experience with various ceramics processes; Strong record of creative work, robust studio practice, and evidence of ongoing professional achievement including scholarship related to the position requirements; Experience and commitment to working with diverse populations of learners; Industry Experience.
