For decades, Earthworks has been a creative home for potters and sculptors. I threw my first pots here in 1990 — crooked little bowls bursting with promise. What started as a wonderful hobby quickly became my passion and my livelihood. I’m pleased to build on that tradition, and invite you to come find your expression in clay.
EarthworksNYC is a get-your-hands-dirty teaching studio offering classes and workshops for adults throughout the year. Classes meet for 10-week sessions, providing complete instruction in making, decorating, and glazing pots. Workshops are usually one or two sessions only, allowing a focused approach to a technique or form.
At EarthworksNYC we have a gallery located in the front studio area. The gallery is a great source of inspiration to students, and a treasure trove of hand-made items. We support local potters and you can, too, by stopping by to browse and shop our ever-changing selection.
